MERIT SYSTEM

The goal for each member = 15 points
Please note that this is a GOAL not a requirement, but it is of utmost importance if you are thinking of becoming an officer of the organization!!!! (To be eligible for an officer position, a student must have been in good standing; these merit points determine good standing)!!!

Ways To Obtain Merit Points:
1) Community Service Activities---------------------------------------3 points
If the community service is done outside the organization, please bring us some form of proof so that you can receive credit (merit points) for the activity.
2) Attending meetings--------------------------------------------------2 points
It is to your advantage to attend the meetings every month. Our meetings will be in the form of speakers either from Dental Schools or from Kaplan. You may miss important information if you skip out on us.
3) Fundraising Volunteer-----------------------------------------------2 points
Fundraisers are important too because they make us $MONEY$ so that we can buy things for our organization, e.g.: computers, printers, our end of the year dinner..etc...So sign up to help out!
4) Wearing our T-Shirt-------------------------------1 points
You may wear these to Meetings, Fundraisers, and Organizational Community Involvement Activities (and any events we are all together; otherwise we don't know if you really wore it).

Remember The end of The Year Banquet/Dinner!!!!! We will be passing out awards and they include:
1) Outstanding Member Award
This goes to the member who accumulates the most merit points.
2) Community Effort Award
This goes to the member who accumulates the most community service merit points.
